Managing your account & data
You’re always in control of your information, directly in the app:
- Export your data — open the You tab → Export my data to download everything you’ve created.
- Delete your account — open the You tab → Delete account to permanently erase your profile, every talisman, and all history. This cannot be undone.
- Sign out — open the You tab → Sign out.
- Edit your name & details — tap your name, or Your details → Edit, in the You tab.
If you can’t access the app for any reason, email us and we’ll help you export or delete your data.
Common questions
Is MyTalisman magic, or psychology?
It draws on ancient symbolism and a genuine sense of wonder, and it works through honest psychology — meaning, attention, emotion, action, and repetition. We don’t claim a picture bends reality; we believe the meaning you give a symbol can change how you focus, feel, and act. It’s a tool for reflection, not a substitute for professional care.
How long does the daily ritual take?
About a minute. You settle your gaze on the emblem, take a few paced breaths tuned to its register, say your anchor word, and seal a small if-then plan. Once a day is the rhythm.
What’s the difference between a talisman and an amulet?
A talisman draws a quality toward you — abundance, courage, calm. An amulet, or ward, holds a boundary against what drains you — anxiety, ill will, overwhelm.
How is each talisman created?
You answer a short, guided flow. MyTalisman composes a unique luminous emblem from your answers and the real moment of creation — the day, the planetary hour, and the Moon phase computed from your location — engraving authentic signs drawn from historical symbol systems.
How do I save my talisman as a wallpaper?
Open a talisman and tap Save as wallpaper. Then, in Photos, choose Share → Use as Wallpaper to set it on your lock screen.
I forgot my password / can’t sign in.
Use the “forgot password” option on the sign-in screen, or email support@mytalisman.app and we’ll help you recover access.
